This event is a chance to learn, discuss and work together as a community to create a better future for our town. If you have been worried about climate change or want to learn more about it and find ways to become more resilient in the face of it, this event is for you.
Be ready for an packed afternoon including food and refreshments.
Part 1: Screening of the People Emergency Briefing on Climate Change and group discussion from 1.20pm, for people of 16 and over.

During this workshop, we will be sharing information about Climate Change and how it will impact the UK and our area in particular. We will be strengthening the community against the challenges to come and discuss best practices to ensure a healthier future for all.
We will discuss and work together on the following 4 areas:
Climate mitigation
Climate adaptation
Preparing for emergencies, and crisis management
